The staff did offer assistance with luggage. That was acceptable.
The wifi situation was pretty annoying. It was only available in the communal areas. breakfast was a letdown. I was told the sausages were vegetarian so i opted against them. then, some vegan streaky bacon showed up instead of regular bacon. plastic spoons were used for tea and coffee. The setting just wasn't inviting at all.

The double room was large enough for my needs.
Getting to the second floor was a trek. Minimal cleaning seemed to be the standard because the walls needed a good wipe down. I saw radiators coated in dust, far from ideal..

i found the location quite convenient it was a short walk into town. the staff were very helpful and available 24/7 on whatsapp to answer questions. the room was light and spacious it was also clean and the value for money was great
the walls seemed thin i could hear a noisy couple nearby this made it a bit difficult to relax fully after a long day out this could be improved with better sound insulation

the staff offered help with luggage they provided a friendly greeting throughout my stay. check-in was efficient and check-out was also quick and straightforward this ensured a smooth experience at the hotel.
